Careers Coordinator
Mike Partington

Mike Partington is a retired teacher with a belief in giving back to his community. The sharing of wisdom and knowledge so important throughout his life is a direct link to the Potlatch, an important ceremony in the lives of his Squamish ancestors.

Mike has extensive experience in guiding young people through the apprenticeship journey. He has helped hundreds of tradespeople begin their sponsorships with just as many certificated journey persons in dozens of different trades throughout Alberta.

Mike has worked through three different apprenticeships himself, including Carpentry, Painter/Decorator, and Interior Systems Mechanic. Mike is excited to work with the rest of the TEPF team to provide valuable training opportunities to indigenous youth in all parts of Alberta.
